CleanSpark Lands Record $6.6 Billion AI Data Center Lease
CleanSpark, a Bitcoin miner, has made its largest foray into AI infrastructure by signing a $6.6 billion lease for a high-performance computing (HPC) data center in Georgia.
The 20-year triple-net lease at the company's Sandersville campus will provide 175 megawatt (MW) of critical IT load, with deliveries scheduled to start in late 2027.
CleanSpark CEO and Chairman Matt Schultz said, 'July was a transformative month for CleanSpark with the execution of our first HPC data center lease at our Sandersville campus.'
The company also reported that it mined 586 Bitcoin last month and held 13,931 Bitcoin as of July 31.
