CleanSpark Locks in $6.6B AI Lease, Expands into Digital Infrastructure
CleanSpark, a leading energy software and services company, reported its fiscal third-quarter revenue at $138 million, up 1% from the preceding quarter. The company also outlined plans to expand beyond Bitcoin mining into digital infrastructure through a long-term data center lease in Georgia.
The 20-year triple-net lease for its Sandersville campus with an unnamed high-investment-grade global technology company covers nearly 250 megawatts of gross capacity and 175 megawatts of critical IT load, representing approximately $6.6 billion in contracted revenue.
CleanSpark expects the first data hall at the Sandersville site to be ready for service in the fourth quarter of calendar 2027, with estimated capital expenditures ranging from $10 million to $12 million per megawatt.
