CleanSpark Produces 593 BTC in August, Exceeds Sales with Net Outflow
CleanSpark produced 593 BTC in August, an increase of seven from July's production. The company reported average daily production of 19.12 BTC and a peak of 20.40 BTC. CleanSpark sold 821 BTC during the same period, resulting in a net decrease of 228 BTC in its treasury holdings.
The company's operational hashrate remained at 50 EH/s, but its deployed fleet grew to 201,269 machines by August 31. Peak efficiency was recorded at 16.07 J/TH, while the maximum concurrent power use and contracted capacity were 808 megawatts and 1.8 gigawatts, respectively.
Luxor's analysis found that hashprice increased from $31.63 to $39.33 per petahash per day during August, with an average of $34.63 for the month. This resulted in an electricity-only breakeven price of approximately $0.090 per kilowatt-hour for mining equipment operating at exactly 16.07 J/TH.
CleanSpark's Bitcoin sales exceeded production by 228 BTC, indicating a net outflow from its treasury holdings.
