CleanSpark Surges on $6.6B Infrastructure Lease Deal
CleanSpark's stock rose as much as 20% in pre-market trade and trimmed gains to around 10% after market open, making it one of the top-trending tickers on Stocktwits.
The company announced a new 20-year agreement with a technology firm for its Sandersville, Georgia campus, which includes two optional five-year extensions and is expected to generate approximately $6.6 billion of contracted revenue over the initial term.
This news lifted other data center-focused Bitcoin miners like Keel Infrastructure (KEEL), Riot Platforms (RIOT), Mara Holdings (MARA), Hut 8 (HUT), and HIVE Digital (HIVE), which rose by around 3% each in morning trade, with the price of Bitcoin itself trading flat at around $63,700.
