CleanSpark's August Mining Performance: Production Climbs, Sales Outstrip It
CleanSpark's August mining performance showed a familiar pattern: production increased, but sales outpaced it, leaving the company with fewer coins in its treasury.
The Nasdaq-listed firm mined 593 Bitcoin at an average operating hashrate of 38.3 exahashes per second, up seven BTC from July's output.
Sales outstripped production, with CleanSpark selling 821 BTC during the month, a mix of spot prices, call exercises, and delta-neutral basis trades.
The average reported sale price was $65,420 per BTC, leaving the company with a net outflow of 228 coins from its treasury.
