CME Emerging Crypto Index Excludes Bitcoin, Focuses on Key Altcoins

CME Group has introduced an emerging crypto index that excludes Bitcoin and Ethereum, highlighting four key tokens in its basket.

The CME Emerging Crypto Index covers more than three-quarters of the cryptocurrency market capitalization after adding futures contracts on Cardano, Chainlink, and Stellar.

This move is significant as it expands the exchange's offerings to a broader range of digital assets, catering to the growing demand for exposure to emerging cryptocurrencies.
