CME Group's cryptocurrency derivatives suite has expanded to cover over 75% of the total market capitalization, according to the exchange. This milestone was reached after the addition of Cardano (ADA), Chainlink (LINK), and Stellar (XLM) futures contracts on February 9.

The figure is based on CoinMarketCap data as of February 13, 2026, and marks a significant increase in institutional exposure to crypto since CME listed its first bitcoin futures in 2017.

Average daily open interest across the full suite reached approximately $26.4 billion in 2025, making it a record year for CME's cryptocurrency products.
