Coca Eliminates Cross-Chain Deposit Friction with In-App Trading
Coca, a self-custodial banking app used in over 75 countries, has eliminated one of cryptocurrency's most persistent pain points: cross-chain deposit friction. The company has launched in-app $COCA trading across more than a dozen blockchain networks, making it possible for users to fund their accounts from any supported chain through a single address.
The integration with Aurora Intents, the cross-chain execution layer built by Aurora Labs, powered by NEAR Intents, allows users to deposit stablecoins from various networks into a reusable address. This eliminates the need for bridging or network-matching and removes the requirement of using third-party exchanges.
Coca's CEO, Vasili Paulau, stated that 'every extra step between a user and their money is a step where we risk losing their trust.' He emphasized that users don't care which blockchain their stablecoins live on; they just want them to show up and be spendable. The integration aims to simplify the process for mainstream users.
