Coinbase Adds Crypto Futures with Up to 10x Leverage for Canadian Traders

Coinbase has launched its Canadian derivatives business with cryptocurrency futures for eligible investors. The offering gives clients access to 23 perpetual and dated futures contracts with leverage of up to 10x.

The contracts cover Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and 20 other digital assets. Coinbase also offers five commodity futures linked to gold, silver, and oil, as well as Coinbase 50 Index futures.

Eligible traders can access nano-sized contracts that reduce the capital needed to open positions compared with larger standard futures contracts.
