Coinbase has announced it will suspend trading in perpetual futures for ten tokens on August 26, at 13:00 UTC. The exchange confirmed this decision through an official announcement.

The affected tokens are Memecoin (MEME-PERP), The Sandbox (SAND-PERP), Moonbirds (BIRB-PERP), Blur (BLUR-PERP), Katana (KAT-PERP), SPX6900 (SPX-PERP), ZORA (ZORA-PERP), Axie Infinity (AXS-PERP), Gensyn (AI-PERP), and LayerZero (ZRO-PERP).

This decision comes with no warning tiers or gradual phase-out, resulting in a hard stop for leveraged trading access. The exchange will automatically settle every open position at the moment of suspension.
