Coinbase-Backed Advocacy Group Endorses 32 Congressional Candidates
Coinbase-affiliated advocacy group Stand With Crypto has endorsed 32 candidates for US House of Representatives seats ahead of the 2026 midterms. The endorsements are based on their digital asset policy views, with an eye towards influencing crypto policy in Washington.
The organization claims that 'crypto voters have become a durable, motivated voting bloc' and notes that these voters can swing key congressional races.
Stand With Crypto executive director Mason Lynaugh said the midterms come at a critical inflection point for crypto policy. He added: 'Crypto Voters at their own peril,' warning politicians not to overlook this demographic.
The group first announced six candidates in March, three Republicans and three Democrats, all of whom advanced from their primaries. Over 270 'pro-crypto' candidates were sent to Congress in 2025, potentially impacting votes on legislation like the GENIUS Act.
