Coinbase-Backed Advocacy Group Endorses 32 Pro-Crypto Midterm Candidates
Coinbase-backed advocacy group Stand With Crypto has endorsed 32 industry-friendly congressional candidates for the November midterm elections, aiming to return pro-crypto lawmakers to office.
The endorsements come as the Clarity Act, a top policy priority for the crypto industry, stalls in the Senate. The bill would provide legal clarity for crypto companies and is seen as essential for their growth.
Stand With Crypto's executive director, Mason Lynaugh, said the group has more than 3 million registered U.S. advocates and aims to influence elections through grassroots organizing rather than large campaign expenditures.
The group has already endorsed six congressional candidates in March and is expected to announce its Senate endorsements closer to Election Day.
