Coinbase-Backed Stand With Crypto Backs 32 House Candidates
Coinbase-backed Stand With Crypto has endorsed 32 incumbent U.S. House candidates ahead of the November midterms, citing their support for the CLARITY Act.
The endorsements come as the bill 'stalls in the Senate amid opposition from some lawmakers,' according to Reuters. Stand With Crypto said it wants to return 'industry-friendly candidates to office' and promote digital asset policy champions.
Mason Lynaugh, executive director of Stand With Crypto, stated that the group has over 3 million registered U.S. advocates, framing its efforts as a continuation of its first active cycle in 2024.
The endorsed candidates include several running in competitive races, such as Arizona Republican Juan Ciscomani and Pennsylvania Republican Brian Fitzpatrick. Stand With Crypto will announce its Senate endorsements closer to Election Day.
