Coinbase Bolsters Board with Finance and Tech Veteran Anthony Armstrong
Coinbase has strengthened its board of directors by appointing Anthony Armstrong as an independent director. Armstrong brings extensive experience from traditional finance, technology, and government operations to the table.
Before joining Coinbase, Armstrong spent nearly a decade at Morgan Stanley, where he led one of the investment bank's most active global technology mergers and acquisitions practices. He later moved into government, serving as a senior adviser at the Department of Government Efficiency in the Executive Office of the President.
Armstrong has also served as chief financial officer across companies founded or led by Elon Musk, including xAI and X Corp.
