Coinbase Bolsters Leadership with Former Musk Executive Anthony Armstrong

Coinbase has appointed Anthony Armstrong to its Board of Directors as the company looks to strengthen its leadership. Armstrong, a former executive at Elon Musk's companies, brings experience in technology, finance, and large-scale operations.

Armstrong will also join Coinbase's Audit Committee. He most recently served as CFO across Elon Musk's companies, including xAI, X.AI Corp., and X Corp.

Coinbase said Armstrong's experience working with frontier technology businesses and large-scale financial operations brings a unique perspective to the company. His career has focused on building organizations that can operate at scale without unnecessary waste.
