Coinbase Boosts UK Services and Expands Global Reach

Coinbase has published an overview of its August 2026 developments, highlighting new features and geographic expansions. The company announced that UK users can now access 24/5 US stock trading through the Coinbase app, allowing for trading at all hours of the day.

In addition to expanded trading capabilities, professional investors in the UK have gained access to derivatives with up to 50x leverage, including futures, perpetuals, and options. These changes are part of Coinbase's ongoing efforts to improve its services and increase accessibility.

Coinbase also announced the establishment of a tokenization hub in Abu Dhabi after receiving Financial Services Permission, indicating a growing presence in international markets.
