Coinbase has launched futures contracts on Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Solana (SOL) in Canada, offering leverage of up to 10x.

The platform's derivatives lineup includes 23 perpetual and dated cryptocurrency futures, as well as five commodity futures and the Coinbase 50 Index.

The products are available to eligible Canadian clients with net financial assets of at least $5 million, or to registered investment advisers and dealers.

This move follows other US trading companies expanding their operations in Canada's digital-asset market. Webull recently added crypto trading for its Canadian customers, while Robinhood acquired WonderFi earlier this year.
