Coinbase Brings U.S. Equities Trading to UK Users

Coinbase has expanded its services to include traditional markets by introducing 24/5 trading in nearly 4,000 U.S. stocks for eligible users in the UK.

The move starts on August 6 and brings equities to the platform's existing offerings of crypto and fiat currencies as part of the company's 'Everything Exchange' strategy.

Eligible customers can fund trades instantly with GBP or USDC, access zero-commission trading, and buy fractional U.S. shares from as little as £1.

Coinbase says this launch marks a first in the UK for crypto-native apps to offer U.S. equities.
