Coinbase Brings US Stock Trading to UK Users 24 Hours a Day

Coinbase has expanded its services to UK users by offering 24/5 trading of nearly 4,000 U.S. stocks inside the Coinbase app.

This move follows Coinbase securing a UK investment-services authorisation on July 7, 2026, which enables equities for retail UK customers and derivatives or perpetual products for institutional and professional clients.

The launch allows UK residents to trade U.S.-listed stocks with commission-free trades, with execution, clearing, and custody provided by Apex Clearing.
