Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong believes that Bitcoin will reach $300,000 to $400,000 by 2030. Speaking on Varney & Co. on Fox Business Network, Armstrong stated that this price range is 'very likely'. He also attended a meeting with President Donald Trump and other high-ranking officials at the White House to discuss the CLARITY Act, which aims to create a comprehensive regulatory framework for digital assets in the US.

The bill would determine under what conditions digital assets are classified as securities, commodities, or stablecoins. Armstrong said that some banks support the bill, but others oppose it due to concerns about stablecoin yields. The CLARITY Act has been delayed and is now expected to be put to a vote in September.

Armstrong's comments on Bitcoin's price came after a sharp rally that saw the asset surpass $72,000. BTC gained around 10% in the last 24 hours, with market activity accelerating following the crypto-friendly statements from Washington.
