Coinbase CEO Predicts Bitcoin Could Hit $300K to $400K by 2030
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has given a bullish long-term outlook for Bitcoin, predicting it could reach $300,000 to $400,000 by 2030. In an appearance on Fox Business, Armstrong cited growing institutional adoption, improving regulatory clarity, and the asset's fixed supply as key drivers that could support higher valuations over the next several years.
Armstrong emphasized that such predictions are inherently uncertain, but pointed to 2030 as a potential timeframe for these price targets. He suggested that Bitcoin might be on the verge of its next bull market, with a full-fledged rally potentially following the upcoming vote on the CLARITY Act, scheduled for September 15.
The proposed legislation aims to provide clearer regulatory guidelines for digital assets, which could reduce uncertainty and encourage more institutional participation. However, the outcome of the vote remains uncertain, and market reactions to legislative developments are rarely predictable.
