Coinbase CEO Sees $400k BTC by 2030, Optimistic on Next Year
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong believes that $400,000 by 2030 is a 'reasonable' target for Bitcoin's price. Speaking on CNBC's Squawk Box Asia, he cited technical factors and regulatory progress as reasons to be optimistic about the cryptocurrency's future.
Armstrong pointed out that Bitcoin has already started its ascent from the July 1, 2026 low of below $60,000 ($57,717). He also noted that most down periods in the cryptocurrency's 4-year cycle last around a year, and this current period has just reached that mark.
The Coinbase CEO thinks the next year or two will be 'good for Bitcoin' and hinted at a potential price run-up before the upcoming halving event in mid-April 2028. Armstrong's comments come as Bitcoin trades near $79,070, up 1.21% in the last 24 hours.
