Coinbase CEO Sees Bitcoin Reaching $400,000 by 2030 on Regulatory Clarity and Gold-Like Appeal
Coinbase Global CEO Brian Armstrong believes Bitcoin could hit $400,000 by 2030, citing the cryptocurrency's rapid growth over the past decade. To reach this target, Bitcoin would need to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 51% over the next four years.
Armstrong points out that Bitcoin has already achieved a CAGR of 33.6% from August 2017 to July 2026. He suggests that $400,000 is a 'reasonable target' based on this historical growth rate.
However, Armstrong also notes that a more likely target might be $250,000, assuming a 34% CAGR, which is closer to Bitcoin's historical growth rate.
