Coinbase CEO Sees Crypto Market On Cusp Of Next Bull Run
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong believes that cryptocurrency is on the cusp of the next bull market. He cited Bitcoin's recent rally, which saw it cross the $72,000 mark, as a possible indicator of a broader shift in the crypto market.
Armstrong pointed out that the current downturn is approaching 370-380 days, the typical length of previous bear markets. He also mentioned that historically, Bitcoin performs well in October, November, and December following its halving cycles, which could bode well for the upcoming months.
Coinbase's revenue is now less dependent on spot Bitcoin trading, with only about 12% coming from it. The company has been expanding into other areas of crypto, including derivatives, prediction markets, stablecoin payments, and tokenization of real-world assets.
