Coinbase CTO Credits AI Agent for Best Career Feedback

Coinbase CTO Rob Witoff credits an AI agent for providing him with some of the best feedback he's ever received in his career.

The company recently rolled out a beta version of its internal AI tool, called Coinbase Coach, which provides employees with private feedback based on interactions with people throughout the organization.

The coach is currently available to opt-in for during the beta phase and uses data from various sources such as Google Docs, meeting transcripts, Github commits, and Slack messages to provide weekly feedback to employees.

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has also used the tool, using what he calls 'reverse prompting' to ask the model questions about his performance and how he can improve as a CEO.
