Coinbase Ends cbETH Support for Three Ethereum Networks
Coinbase is ending support for cbETH deposits and withdrawals on Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon networks starting August 17, 2026. This means users will no longer be able to send or receive cbETH through these three networks after that date.
However, cbETH remains fully available on the Ethereum and Base networks. Coinbase warns users not to send cbETH to Coinbase addresses associated with Arbitrum, Optimism, or Polygon once support ends, as funds may not be recoverable.
Coinbase has made several recent announcements regarding trading pair suspensions and derivatives offerings. The company suspended six non-USD trading pairs on August 5, including LSETH-ETH, MINA-EUR, GRT-GBP, MASK-GBP, CHZ-USDT, and CRO-USDT.
