Coinbase Engineer Cracks BTC Trade with Simulated Fruit Fly Brain
A Coinbase engineer has used a simulated fruit fly brain to make a Bitcoin trade.
The engineer, who remains unnamed, provided $100 in funding for the project and achieved a profit of $1 on a transaction involving BTC ($77,359.00).
The system uses neural networks to process data from Coinbase and produce decisions based on that information.
The experiment is based on a fruit fly brain map with 166,700 neurons that was announced earlier this month.
