Coinbase has expanded its services to UK users by offering 24/5 trading of nearly 4,000 U.S. stocks within the Coinbase app.

This move follows Coinbase's recent acquisition of a UK investment-services authorisation on July 7, 2026, which enables equities for retail UK customers and derivatives or perpetual products for institutional and professional clients.

UK residents can access this feature by creating a Coinbase Capital Markets brokerage account during onboarding, with no commission fees charged on stock trades. Execution, clearing, and custody are provided by Apex Clearing.
