Coinbase Files to Bring Stock Perpetuals to US

Share

Coinbase has filed SEC notice registrations to bring stock perpetual contracts to the US through its regulated derivatives exchange and brokerage.

The filings, dated September 1, do not provide a launch date, list of supported stocks, or proposed leverage limits. Single-stock futures fall under the joint oversight of the SEC and CFTC.

Coinbase said it is working to offer single-stock perpetual contracts in the US after submitting the registrations for its regulated derivatives businesses.
