Coinbase Gets Green Light for International Tokenization Platform in Abu Dhabi

Coinbase has received authorization from Abu Dhabi Global Market's Financial Services Regulatory Authority to launch an international tokenization platform in the UAE.

The approval enables Coinbase to facilitate transactions and maintain custody of blockchain-based securities representing actual equity shares, allowing investors to receive complete ownership benefits without traditional brokerage services.

Coinbase has established Abu Dhabi (ADGM) as its international tokenization hub, with the newly acquired FSRA license enabling it to bring global securities to anyone with a wallet.
