Coinbase Global Adds New Director Amid Regulatory Scrutiny
Coinbase Global has expanded its board to ten members by appointing Anthony Armstrong as a director. His term will run until the 2027 annual meeting of shareholders or until a successor is chosen.
Armstrong will sit on the Audit and Compliance Committee, receive compensation under Coinbase's standard non-employee director program, and has entered into the company's customary indemnification agreement.
Coinbase emphasized that Armstrong and his family use their platform and pay fees like other customers, with no special arrangements or family relationships involved in his selection.
