Share

Coinbase Global has expanded its board of directors from nine to ten members by appointing Anthony Armstrong as a director. The appointment took effect on September 1, 2026, and Armstrong's term will run until the 2027 annual meeting of shareholders or until a successor is chosen.

Armstrong will sit on the Audit and Compliance Committee and receive compensation under Coinbase’s standard non-employee director program. He has also entered into the company’s customary indemnification agreement.

Coinbase emphasized that Armstrong and his immediate family use the platform like other customers, paying fees without any special arrangements or family relationships involved in his selection. Additionally, he holds no disclosable material interests in related-party transactions.
