The company's shares traded up $12.92 during mid-day trading, hitting a price of $159.15. The total number of shares exchanged was 11,262,889, exceeding its average volume of 10,193,170.

Recent quarterly earnings results showed that Coinbase Global reported ($1.36) earnings per share (EPS), missing analysts' consensus estimates by ($0.92). Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.22 billion, down 18.5% compared to the same period last year.
