Coinbase HR Leader to Exit After Layoffs, Dominique Baillet Set to Take Over
Coinbase Chief People Officer L.J. Brock will leave the company on August 17 after overseeing the recent workforce reduction, which saw around 700 jobs cut in May.
Brock will remain as an advisor until November 30 under a consulting agreement, during which time he'll receive $182,500 for three months of advisory services, equivalent to his annual salary. He will also see one portion of his equity award continue vesting until November 20.
The exit comes just over two weeks before Coinbase's second-quarter earnings report on July 30, and marks the latest executive change at the company following Paul Grewal's departure as Chief Legal Officer in early July.
