Coinbase Launches Event Prediction Market with Matsuda / Shiraishi vs Tanaka / TANGE Contract
Coinbase has introduced a new market for predicting the outcome of events. The Matsuda / Shiraishi vs Tanaka / TANGE contract will expire on September 9, 2026, with an interest rate of $45,188.40 and a total value of $60,000.
The market will be closed immediately after the event occurs, or if it doesn't occur, it will close at 7:25 AM GMT+0 on September 9, 2026. Traders are prohibited from trading this contract, including current and former players, coaches, and staff of the league, association, or organization governing the event.
Paid employees of the league and league participants, owners of teams and the league, and household members and immediate family of all above are also not permitted to trade on the contract. Additionally, persons who hold any material, non-public information on the underlying asset are prohibited from trading on the contract.
