Coinbase Launches Regulated Crypto Futures in Canada with Up to 10x Leverage

Crypto exchange Coinbase has launched its first major crypto-native platform to offer direct native crypto futures in Canada.

The platform offers eligible Canadian traders access to 23 perpetual and dated contracts tied to Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), and Solana (SOL).

The contracts come with up to 10x leverage alongside five commodity futures and the Coinbase 50 Index.

This move gives sophisticated Canadian investors regulated access to crypto derivatives, marking a significant step for Coinbase as it deepens its push beyond spot trading towards becoming a broader financial markets platform.
