Coinbase Launches Regulator-Approved Crypto Derivatives Trading in Canada

Coinbase has launched a regulator-approved crypto derivatives trading service in Canada.

The service, offered through Coinbase Financial Markets, includes 23 perpetual futures and fixed-maturity futures contracts tied to major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ether, and Solana, as well as five commodity futures products and the Coinbase 50 Index.

Eligibility is limited to investors with at least $5 million in net financial assets or registered investment advisers and dealers. Contracts are offered in nano-sized units for smaller trades and support leverage of up to 10x.
