Coinbase Global Inc., trading under NASDAQ ticker COIN, experienced bearish pressure after releasing its second-quarter results.

The company reported an adjusted loss of 40 cents per share, matching the consensus estimate. However, revenue fell short of expectations at $1.22 billion, missing the estimated $1.31 billion.

Despite this, Coinbase made significant gains in market share, reaching a record 10.3% in crypto trading volume, up from 9.1% in Q1. This marks the company's third consecutive quarter of market share growth.

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong attributed their success to 'delivering in all market conditions,' stating that the company is no longer just a bet on Bitcoin prices.
