Coinbase Posts Third Straight Quarterly Revenue Decline
Coinbase Global Inc., one of the industry's most diversified exchanges, posted a third consecutive quarterly decline in revenue. Second-quarter revenue dropped a more-than-forecast 19% to $1.22 billion. This follows a roughly 30% decline in the previous three months. The decline is attributed to falling token prices that drained trading activity across digital asset markets.
The San Francisco-based company reported this drop in its quarterly earnings statement on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Coinbase's revenue has now declined for three straight quarters due to a cooling crypto market.
