Coinbase Rebound on Tokenization Hopes Raises Valuation Questions
Coinbase Global (COIN) has seen its share price rebound sharply in recent days, rising by 7.58% over a single day and 16.08% over seven days.
This comes after the company received a Financial Services Permission from Abu Dhabi's FSRA to build an international tokenization hub in the Abu Dhabi Global Market, targeting fully backed tokenized securities.
The rebound has been driven by recent regulatory progress around the CLARITY Act, a powerful short squeeze in digital assets, and new product launches, but it also reflects a growing optimism about Coinbase's future prospects.
However, not everyone is convinced that COIN is undervalued. Our DCF model suggests a fair value closer to $14.23, making the current share price look heavily overvalued instead.
