Coinbase Revenue Dips Amid Weaker Crypto Activity
Coinbase's Q2 revenue took a hit, falling 14% compared to the previous quarter and 19% year-over-year.
The decline in transaction revenues was largely responsible for the drop, coming in at $599 million versus the estimated $636 million.
However, the firm's subscription and services revenues also fell short of expectations, reaching $555 million compared to the predicted $590 million.
Despite this, Coinbase managed to increase its global market share, with a 10.3% stake in worldwide crypto spot trading volume, up from 9.1% previously.
