Coinbase Secures FSRA License for Global Tokenization Hub

Share

Coinbase, a global cryptocurrency exchange, has secured a license from Abu Dhabi's Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) in the United Arab Emirates. The new FSRA license will enable Coinbase to offer global securities to users with wallets.

The company plans to establish Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) as the hub for its global tokenization business, expanding operations centered in the UAE. Coinbase aims to push into tokenized traditional financial assets that can be traded on blockchain.

'The next phase of global finance is on-chain,' Coinbase wrote. 'We are building it in the UAE.'
