Coinbase Seeks SEC Approval for Single Stock Perpetual Futures

Share

Coinbase has filed SEC registration notices for its derivatives exchange and broker to introduce single stock perpetual futures to U.S. clients.

The company stated it will work with the SEC and CFTC to expand regulated access to global crypto derivatives, starting with institutional onboarding and planning broader retail access later.

This marks Coinbase Financial Markets as the first U.S.-regulated Futures Commission Merchant offering onshore access to perpetual futures and options for institutional clients.
