Coinbase Stops Trading Badger DAO and Storj Tokens in Late 2026
Coinbase has announced that it will stop trading Badger DAO (BADGER) and Storj (STORJ) tokens on September 28, 2026. Although users can still withdraw their balances after this date, trading has been limited to limit-only mode since August 28.
This means that only limit orders are accepted, which may slow down sales and reduce liquidity for the tokens. The halt follows Coinbase's routine review of asset liquidity and trading quality, similar to recent delistings.
STORJ holders should also note that Binance stopped trading STORJ on September 3, 2026. Storj Labs is currently undergoing Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, but the token itself does not confer company ownership.
BADGER faces reduced liquidity due to fewer trading venues, and investors must decide whether to sell before the halt or withdraw their funds to another exchange. Considering tax implications and transfer fees may also be a factor in this decision.
