Coinbase Surges as Revised Clarity Act Gains Momentum
The U.S. digital asset market structure corporation Clarity Act has gained momentum after the Republican Party revised the bill to strengthen provisions against conflicts of interest in virtual assets held by public officials.
This move has led to a surge in Coinbase's stock price, rising 9% to $191.45 per share on Nasdaq. Circle and Strategy also saw gains of 7.48% and 4.56%, respectively.
The Clarity Act is set for its first procedural vote at 3:15 a.m. Korean time on the 16th, with expectations growing ahead of the strategic Bitcoin reserve bill vote.
