Coinbase Surges on Strong Q2 Momentum and Regulatory Gains
Coinbase Global Inc stocks have been trading up by 4.5 percent amid surging optimism over expanding crypto adoption and regulation.
The company hit a 10.3% crypto trading volume market share in Q2 2026, grew subscriptions and services, and posted its 14th straight quarter of positive adjusted EBITDA with tighter expense guidance.
Coinbase's revenue is becoming less reliant on pure Bitcoin spot trading cycles, with nearly half now coming from subscriptions and services such as staking, stablecoins, custody, and other fee streams.
The regulatory environment is also improving for Coinbase, with the company receiving approval in Abu Dhabi to build a tokenization hub with fully backed tokenized securities and full shareholder rights.
