Coinbase Suspends Trading for Badger DAO and Storj on September 28
Coinbase has suspended trading for two tokens on September 28, 2026: Badger DAO (BADGER) and Storj (STORJ). The suspension comes after a rough stretch for both assets. Badger DAO is a DeFi protocol that offers Bitcoin yield products, while Storj is a decentralized cloud storage network.
According to Coinbase, the decision to suspend trading was made as part of its routine evaluation of listed assets against internal benchmarks covering liquidity and trading performance. This is not the first time Coinbase has taken such action - recent suspensions have hit IOTX, IDEX, and LRC.
The suspension means that holders will no longer be able to place new trades, but can still withdraw their holdings. The exchange transitioned both order books to limit-only mode immediately upon announcing the suspension, meaning market orders were shut off while limit orders and order matches remained temporarily active.
