Coinbase Suspends Trading on Six Cryptocurrency Pairs Amid Market Review
Coinbase will be suspending trading on six cryptocurrency pairs starting August 6, 2026. The affected pairs are LSETH-ETH, MINA-EUR, GRT-GBP, MASK-GBP, CHZ-USDT, and CRO-USDT.
The decision comes after a routine review of market quality and trading activity by the exchange. Five out of these six pairs have already been moved to limit-only mode ahead of the suspension.
During this period, traders can place or cancel limit orders, but market orders will no longer be accepted. Coinbase cited its ongoing listing review process as the reason for this decision.
The company regularly assesses liquidity, trading volume, and order book depth to ensure that supported markets meet its trading standards. If a market shows weaker activity, it may be removed to maintain efficient trading conditions and reduce the impact of wider spreads.
