Coinbase Unveils Launches Tab for Instant Trading of New Tokens

Coinbase has introduced a new feature called Launches tab on its decentralized exchange (DEX) platform, allowing users to discover and trade newly launched Base and Solana tokens immediately after they go live on-chain.

The feature is designed to shorten the time between a token's on-chain launch and when users can begin trading it, unlike traditional exchange listings which often involve a delay before trading begins.

The Launches tab requires users to create a self-custody wallet before trading, and is currently unavailable in some jurisdictions. Coinbase emphasizes that fees may apply and that the feature should not be interpreted as investment advice or a recommendation to purchase any digital asset.
