Coinbase Unveils 'Launches' Tab for New Tokens on Base and Solana

Coinbase has introduced a new 'Launches' tab on its platform, allowing users to discover and trade newly launched tokens on Base and Solana.

The feature is part of Coinbase's built-in decentralized exchange (DEX), which routes trades to on-chain liquidity rather than requiring a token to be formally listed on the centralized exchange.

This means that users can now find and trade new tokens as soon as they go live on-chain, with access to key data and risk signals on all tokens.

The 'Launches' tab is available in Coinbase's DEX, but it requires users to create a self-custody wallet prior to trading. The feature is not available in all locations, according to Coinbase's product page.
